Friendly Reminder to Leave Your House

Hey fellow fractional folks, consultants and freelancers: friendly reminder to ***leave your house***.

Yes, working from home is a huge privilege and I’m deeply grateful for it.
But it can also turn your world into a bit of a bubble.

Last week I went to DC Startup & Tech Week (Formerly DC Startup Week), and it was revitalizing to be surrounded by passionate, driven founders — especially in CPG, where you can literally touch and taste the ideas people are bringing to life.

It reminded me what I love about this space: there’s something magical about an idea that becomes something you can hold in your hand (or eat!) and then see on a store shelf.

So here’s your gentle nudge: close the laptop, step outside, and go be around other people building cool things. You’ll come back with a fuller cup — and maybe a new idea. ☕️✨
